Nine people have died from coronavirus in Jordan on Saturday, the director of the National Institute for Forensic Medicine, Adnan Abbas, told Roya. These deaths were recorded after the government's daily COVID-19 announcement on Friday.
Abbas added that one of the deceased is his 63-year-old cousin, who worked as a doctor and suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes.
The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 175.
Jordan has recorded 1,246 new coronavirus cases on Friday, 1,230 of which are local cases.
